EPA as
well as FDA require that all hazardous chemicals be stored
away from feed storage areas. Insecticides must be stored
separately from feed additives unless the insecticide is an
approved feed additive. Several occurrences of deadly feed
contaminations have resulted from careless handling and
storage of insecticides. These chemicals must be stored in
original bags or containers, or in properly marked storage
bins.
