In managing the feedlot heifer, abortifacients can eliminate
unwanted pregnancies which lead to dystocia, retained
placenta, prolapsed uterus along with heifer and calf
postnatal care. Abortifacients have no withdrawal time.
However, you should be cautious to ensure that these
products are not administered too late in the gestation
period. Label directions and your veterinarian can provide
proper administration procedures.
