Section 1 - BQA/CMP Program


 
 

The program will present suggested guidelines for safe and wholesome beef production.  The SD BQA/CMP trained participants will be encouraged to become SD BQA/CMP certified producers by implementing the procedures and guidelines outlined in this manual.

The program will provide participants suggested systems for establishing recordkeeping practices.  The recordkeeping systems allow participants to verify that their facilities and production practices meet the program objectives.

The program will provide methods and materials for participants to train employees on acceptable procedures and how to utilize recordkeeping systems.

Successful completion and implementation of the program will further position South Dakota beef producers for the future.
